An important update from Heifer HQ!

We are always looking to improve our guest experience, and as part of this, we are planning to transition to a new online table booking system this week.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday evening, the supplier of our existing system mistakenly cancelled all of our bookings; well over 1,000 in total.

Many of our guests will have received a message stating that their reservation had been cancelled, and you can imagine the confusion and disruption this caused here at Heifer HQ.

We want to reassure you that we have reviewed all table reservations thoroughly & fully restored all cancelled bookings, so there is no need for concern.

If you did wish to check on your reservation for peace of mind, please do not hesitate to give our guest relations team a call on 01969 622322.

Please note, no hotel reservations have been affected with this issues.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or worry this may have caused and truly appreciate your understanding and patience.

Oysters have been a cornerstone of the Heifer menu since we first opened over 20 years ago.

Sourced from across the British Isles, we work with more than seven trusted suppliers who deliver fresh oysters every day of the week, ensuring only the finest reach our kitchen.

We serve over 500 oysters each week, a testament to both their popularity and our commitment to freshness, essential when showcasing this delicate delicacy.

At the Heifer, our chefs have carefully crafted the perfect accompaniments to elevate the oyster experience. We begin with a classic shallot vinegar, selected after tasting over 20 varieties before settling on the ideal one from a single-estate producer.

Next, we offer our Asian seaweed garnish, adding a unique texture and depth of flavour.

Finally, our Bloody Mary salsa, a twist on the traditional American prawn cocktail sauce, combines rich tomato and horseradish with just the right balance of sweetness and spice.

Together, these elements create a truly memorable way to enjoy one of the sea's finest offerings.
