Join us for lunch or dinner at the Wensleydale Heifer, and you’re guaranteed a meal to remember. Our ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible (some from literally just down the road!) and bursting with flavour.

Our chefs create dishes ranging from luxury classics such as steak and lobster through to our very famous Fish and Chips - there’s something for everyone whether they prefer fine dining or a casual meal.

We’re very family-friendly and have a lovely children’s menu which is sure to get little taste buds tingling.

Our menus burst with local produce, and our list of local suppliers is almost as long as our list of return visitors - from eggs to wine, vegetables to fish and meat to coffee, we use local wherever we can.

We have our own in-house smokery - perfect for smoking meats and fish - while pastry-chef Krissy handmakes our chocolates and famous granola.

Our chefs speak to local suppliers daily and if something’s particularly excellent, we look to add it to the menu.

These great ingredients are used to brilliant effect in our inclusive menus offering great options for all diets - most of our options can be made gluten-free - as well as vegan and vegetarian choices.
